Planet Awesome Kid’s Awesome Event!

Last Saturday was the awesome fundraiser put together by my friends at Planet Awesome Kid for the charity Global Action for Children. I spent the day picking up cupcakes, selling children’s clothing, holding kids, cleaning up, and pretending to be an MC.

Some kid unintentionally planted a tree in my face.

I think I’m definitely taller than Doro when I try really hard (nbc.com).

Looking cooler than usual as an MC. (photo Andrea De Domenico)

Fashion Week Paris: Day 2

Found this gem of an advertisement this morning when we were buying film.

Delightful french breakfast.

Subways in Paris are incredible. We missed our train and another came in less than a minute. How come the metro in NYC isn’t like that?

Make-up time.

Talking to fashion t.v. I may have used the word fabulous, and definitely used the word amazing.

Finally ate lunch around 5pm and it tasted incredible, if you don’t believe me look at this smile—

Made a quick stop into the chocolate shop for some presents and salty dark chocolate caramels for me!

Goodnight Paris.

Fashion Week Paris: Day 1

Air France shows live feed of take-off and landing!

Paris has got to be one of the most beautiful cities ever, check out this sunset on the Seine.

Bright and early in the agency in heels.

Jet-lag.

Waiting for a fitting.

So much behind the scenes work goes into doing these shows. At Giles there was a dress 10 people had been working on for a full week!

Untouched calories.

Incredible hair at Giles—Stepford wife meets Mars Attacks?

Goodnight!

Models Strippen Für Den Klimaschutz

German is funny.  One time I was sitting on a bus listening to some German people talk and I understood everything they said. Never having taken a single German class in my life I was convinced that I was some sort of idiot savant when it came to German. Then I realized they were speaking English with a German accent. I blame movies. But you have to admit that sometimes, German, actual German, not just the accent, is like a hilarious interpretation of English. I mean “strippen fur den klimaschutz”???
